One said he feels out of place when he wears a tie to meetings where many of his fellow attorneys have chosen to go without a tie. Everyone is in a suit but the participants don’t feel they need a tie around their necks to perform at the top of their game.

The other, said he wears a suit and tie everyday. He feels the tie completes his outfit and is a way to add some color and “pop” to his ensemble. He just doesn’t understand how a professional can dress for success with a tie to complete his attire.

Of course, there are the members of the “boy tie”club that never think their outfit is complete without the proper bow.

The gentleman arrives with his most current suits for a consult. What should he wear for his wedding weekend events? Family Britches offered to make the necessary alterations on his suits (purchased elsewhere)

We suggested some shirt and tie combinations and suggested he come back with his finance to review the options when his garments were ready.

The gentleman returned with his bride to be. We discussed what she wanted to coordinate with the bridesmaids and selected the appropriate ensemble.

The groom suggested his son needed a suit for the affair. Did we have something appropriate in a younger man’s style and price point? Family britches suggested he bring the young man in so we could work with the son and satisfy everyone.

A feel good story about a merchant in our town for the Holidays. My 6th grade daughter went into town last week to do some Christmas shopping. She went into Family Britches to buy a gift for her dad. The store owner Barry helped her pick out the gift. When she asked the price, she realized she did not have enough money, she told Barry that she could not afford the item and that she still needed to get gifts for her brothers. Barry told her not to worry that he would take less (a lot less) for the item so that she still had enough money to finish her shopping! My daughter cannot stop thinking about his kindness… He even took her into the back room and let her pick out wrapping paper and bow! My husband offered to make up the difference, but Barry would not hear of it. I know my daughter will remember his kindness forever!!
